Mesotherapy · derma utoquai Zurich
Mesotherapy puts active ingredients exactly where the scalp needs them, 1 to 2 mm down, right at the follicle. No detour through the digestive system, no systemic load. Dosed individually, according to the cause of the hair loss.
The actives, vitamins, minerals, circulation boosters or growth factors, are delivered into the dermis by fine micro-injections, forming small reservoirs that keep releasing over several days.
The mix follows the diagnosis: biotin, zinc, dexpanthenol, minoxidil or dutasteride, depending on cause and goal.
A fine needle, 1–2 mm deep, worked systematically across the affected area under local anaesthetic.
The actives stay local and release steadily over days, with no systemic exposure.
Mechanism of action
The diagram shows schematically where the actives end up: below the epidermis, in the dermis, where the blood vessels and the base of the follicle sit. The reservoirs keep releasing over days, stimulating circulation and cell metabolism around the hair bulb.
Scalp cross-section · epidermis · dermis · subcutis · reservoir 1–2 mm · hair bulb
The mix is decided case by case. Common ingredients include dexpanthenol, biotin, zinc, caffeine and circulation-boosting agents, and, in androgenetic alopecia, minoxidil or dutasteride as a depot injection.
Four to six sessions two to four weeks apart, then top-ups every two to three months. The rhythm follows the diagnosis.
The injections are fine and superficial. Most patients feel no more than a light tingle. Local anaesthetic is available on request.
