Considerate advice

Our practice is a safe space.

We meet every patient with respect, openness and discretion, wherever they are on their own path. Dr Rosenthal brings specialist experience that is hard to find with conventional providers.

N

Natural results

Gender-affirming hair transplants call for a deep understanding of feminine and masculine hairlines, from the contour of the forehead through to density. Dr Rosenthal designs results that sit naturally with the rest of your face.

M

Medication safety

Many patients are on ongoing hormone therapy. Possible interactions need careful review, particularly with finasteride, and that calls for solid knowledge where endocrinology meets hair surgery.

H

A holistic approach

No standard protocol, an individual plan that takes your transition, your growth pattern and your own aesthetic goals into account as a whole.

E

Experience that counts

Dr Rosenthal has already carried out over 300 hair transplants for trans, non-binary and genderqueer patients, and takes the time to understand exactly where you are starting from.

Your own stem cells activate the hair cells. One session, no downtime, measurable results after three to six months.

Care

Seffihair®

A supporting therapy that strengthens the hair you have, on its own or alongside a procedure.

You do not have to explain yourself here before you are treated.

Frequently asked questions

What patients want to know

How much experience does Dr Rosenthal have in this area?+
Dr Rosenthal has already carried out over 300 hair transplants for trans, non-binary and genderqueer patients. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want and where you are starting from, then builds a tailored treatment plan with you.
What makes a hairline read as feminine or masculine?+
Above all the shape of the front contour. Feminine lines run rounder and more continuously, masculine ones form more pronounced temporal angles. Density and the exit angle of the hair also play a part. The contour is planned around your facial proportions.
I am on hormone therapy. Is a procedure still possible?+
Usually yes, but the hormone therapy is factored into the planning. Possible interactions need careful review, particularly with finasteride. Bring your current medication to the consultation and we can go through it concretely.
Which treatments are available to me?+
The full range: ARTAS® iX, manual FUE with the sapphire technique, PRP therapy, mesotherapy, Regenera Activa and Seffihair®. Which one makes sense depends on your diagnosis and your goal.
Will I be addressed correctly at the practice?+
Yes. Your name and pronouns follow what you tell us, from the first contact onwards. You do not have to tell your story if you would rather not. Medically, only what the treatment actually requires is relevant.

Consultation

Let's talk about your line.

At the first consultation we look at your diagnosis, go through your hormone therapy and plan the contour together, calmly and without any time pressure.

This information is for general guidance and does not replace a consultation with a doctor. Results vary from person to person. Where hormone therapy is ongoing, possible interactions are assessed individually before treatment begins.
